One thing that separates Sunset Guitar Lessons from the competition is Valbert Studio. Equipped with Pro Tools and Logic software as well as high quality microphones and recording gear, Valbert Studio is both a bonus for students and a fully functional recording studio.
You can always choose to spend your lesson time recording. I can help you edit and expand chord progressions, melodies, and even, lyrics. Maybe you are not a songwriter. That’s okay, the studio is a great tool for working on your playing. Learn about the art of layering guitar parts or simply create a rhythm track to play along with at home.
Already have songs written but don’t know how to go about capturing them? Record your demo with me at Valbert. Rather than hiring musicians, a recording engineer, a mixing engineer, and a producer, why not get all those at once?
My most important piece of gear is my ears. I am trained as a recording and mixing engineer as well as a musician, and I bring my experience in both fields to every recording I make.
A demo is a great tool to get gigs, find band-members, and even sell CDs and online downloads. Songs can be captured intimately or enhanced with a wide palate of guitar sounds, bass, synth, and programmed drums. I am professional, experienced, friendly, and relaxed. As a songwriter myself, I will guide you but never force you down a path. You will feel comfortable even as you sing personal lyrics and fine-tune your melodies.
Ready to take the next step? Talk to me about producing your single, EP, or album. Full band recordings can be made at a large studio I have access to, while overdubbing and mixing can be taken care of right here at Valbert Studio. Already have a recording that needs to be mixed? I can take raw tracks and develop a professional sounding, radio-ready mix.
